High Cholesterol Makes You Live Longer

High Cholesterol Makes You Live Longer

By Jared Boynton | 5/30/2017

People with elevated HDL and LDL live longer.

That statement probably blew your mind. You probably think I’m a liar. It will take a long time and a lot of soul-searching for you to rectify this in your brainwashed, misguided mind.

This is not a hidden trend, though. People with high cholesterol have been recorded to live longer in a large, statistically significant number of scientific papers. Example: Dr. Harlan Krumholz of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale reported in 1994 that elderly patients with LOW cholesterol died twice as often from heart attacks than those with HIGH cholesterol. Supporters of the “cholesterol is evil” campaign largely ignore his findings. When they’re not being ignored, they’re being considered a rare exception produced by chance amidst a huge number of other studies that find the opposite.

It’s not an exception, though. There are now an extremely large number of studies that have been found to contradict the lies surrounding general medical approach to high cholesterol. To be more specific: MOST studies of old people have shown that elevated cholesterol is not at all a risk factor for coronary heart disease. Eleven studies done by Dr. Uffe Ravnskov, MD found the result of Dr. Krumholz’s studies to be true, and a further seven studies found that high cholesterol did not predict mortality whatsoever.

Consider this: 90% of all heart disease is found in people above age 60 (10% of the people who die from a heart attack), and almost all studies have found that high cholesterol is not a risk factor for women (roughly half of that 10%). Take those two statements alone and you’ve already reduced the chance that cholesterol is a risk factor for heart disease to 5%.

Let’s take it one step further! Six of the aforementioned studies found that total mortality was INVERSELY correlated with total or LDL cholesterol (or both). This means that if you’ve got elevated LDL or total cholesterol, you’re less likely to die.

So by all means – load up on those fatty cuts of beef. Chow down on those egg yolks. You’ll live longer that the fear mongers sipping egg whites and munching on 99% lean ground turkey.
